ABOUT
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is the art of mindful listening.
The trained spiritual director listens and reflects on your experience of the divine, in whatever form.
Sharing your story helps you notice the rhythms in your life, the places of grace, the whispers of a calling, and the gifts which may be buried in suffering.
While therapy focuses on solving specific problems, spiritual direction is designed as a prayerful, meditative, open-hearted practice to help us to understand our personal and unique sense of God, and to experience our deepest true nature.

However you experience or name the Infinite, the Divine, God, Nature, you can explore and deepen your relationship by working with a spiritual director.

Spiritual Directors are also referred to as Spiritual Companions. We don't actually direct you with a To Do list, we accompany you on your life's journey, through good times and challenging times.

Perhaps you are
-
Experiencing stress, anxiety, grief, or burnout, and you want to experience healing.
-
Feeling God's presence and wanting to talk with someone about that.
-
Not feeling any spiritual presence and wondering why.
-
Deconstructing the religion you were raised with and seeking to reconstruct your faith.
-
"Spiritual but not Religious" and wanting to explore what you are actually experiencing.

These are just a few examples of the many possibilities in this profound reflective relationship.
